Genealogists will appreciate this book that covers how to organize and keep track of all the documents acquired during their research.
While it’s a bit outdated and does not go into detail about how to use current technology for some of these tasks it is still highly relevant because many documents are still kept in paper form for a number of reasons. A genealogist may need to order copies of original documents in order to better read the information. Even online material is often printed out so that one can build a file for a client or other family member.
One thing I wish I had learned early on was how to use the techniques in these books to stay better organized so having this book as soon in one’s research process as possible will make things easier in the long run for anyone who performs family history research.
